Li Auto new in Munich

Li Auto opened its European Research & Development Center in the Design Offices in the Macherei.

Clemens Baumgärtner, Secretary for Economic Affairs at the City of Munich, attended the opening ceremony together with Li Auto President Ma Donghui, CFO Li Tie, General Manager Dr. Liu Qiang, Chinese Consul General Qiu Xuejun and State Secretary Dr. Markus Wittmann from the Bavarian State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy.

Li Auto is one of the most important Chinese OEMs in China. The new research center will focus on electric driving, semiconductor development and design. Li Auto chose Bavaria and Munich in particular because of the strong automotive industry.
